Cookie Policy

Effective date: 10 July 2026 · Last updated: 10 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how RoboSparkLab Inc. ("RoboSparkLab," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on robosparklab.life. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We comply with PIPEDA and, where applicable, British Columbia PIPA regarding consent for non-essential tracking.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, or understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage entries and pixel tags. Some cookies are set by us; others may be set by analytics vendors if you opt in.

2. How we use cookies

We group cookies into four categories: strictly necessary, analytics, advertising, and preferences. Strictly necessary cookies are required for basic operation — for example, remembering your cookie consent choice. Optional categories run only if you accept them via our banner or save custom preferences.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

rsl_cookie_consent — stores your cookie banner decision (accept all, reject all, or custom preferences) as a JSON value. Duration: six months. Provider: RoboSparkLab. Purpose: comply with consent requirements and avoid repeated prompts.

These cookies cannot be disabled through our banner because the site needs to record your choice. You may still remove them via browser settings, which will reset the banner on your next visit.

4. Analytics cookies (optional)

If you accept analytics, we may use privacy-oriented measurement tools to collect aggregated visit counts, page paths, referral sources, device type and approximate region. We do not use analytics to build individual advertising profiles. Example vendors may include Plausible Analytics or Google Analytics 4 configured with IP anonymization — the specific vendor active at any time is listed in our internal cookie register and updated when tooling changes.

Typical duration: session to thirteen months depending on vendor. You may reject analytics via "Reject all" or uncheck Analytics in "Customise."

5. Advertising cookies (optional)

If you accept advertising cookies, third-party ad platforms may set identifiers to measure campaign performance or limit repeat ads for RoboSparkLab outreach. We do not sell personal data. Example platforms may include LinkedIn Insight Tag or Google Ads conversion tags when campaigns are active. These cookies are off by default.

6. Preferences cookies (optional)

Preferences cookies remember choices such as dismissed notices or non-essential UI settings. Duration: up to twelve months. Provider: RoboSparkLab or embedded tooling you opt into.

7. Consent management

On first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all, or Customise. Your selection is stored for six months in rsl_cookie_consent. Non-essential scripts load only after opt-in. Form consent for PIPEDA (consent_pipeda) is separate and required to submit contact enquiries — it is never pre-checked.

8. How to change or withdraw consent

Clear cookies for robosparklab.life in your browser settings and reload the page to see the banner again. Browser-specific instructions are available from your browser vendor (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). You may also enable Global Privacy Control signals where our tooling honours them for optional analytics.

9. Do Not Track

There is no universal standard for Do Not Track. We treat explicit cookie banner choices as authoritative for optional categories on this site.

10. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when tooling or law changes. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes appear on this page.
